Photography

I have a range of subject matter from landscape to portraiture, several compositional techniques and a preference towards vivid & high-key, utilizing a Nikon D5500 and almost always a 200mm telephoto lense.

I have employed my skills primairly for my own pleasure, but have recently began to refine some technical considerations (ISO, aperture, shutter speed) and post-processing (Photoshop) with work experience and taking a couple photography courses for my undergraduate studies.

High-Key In-Studio Photographic Portfolio (2025)

I was exprimenting with a high-key set-up, using speed & stobe lights. Some of the images had blue cellophane covering one of the stobes. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone by directing a model for a photoshoot as well as having control over my lighting.

(2024) I had taken proffesional headshots  for the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce, check out the Chamber

Photographic Word Response: Pluviophile (2025)
A pluviophile is someone who loves the rain and the feeling of rain falling. These two images bring these feelings to light with romanticism and reverie. Taken in-studio with a modified strobe light set-up & a reflector.
System to a Series (2025)
This series explores the unseen spaces of our home. Parts that have been forgotten brought to the forefront. I wished to explore how I could utilize photography to warp our perception by evoking feelings of loneliness, disgust and unease. All images must be consistent by featuring similar lighting, subject matter & effects.
